Our Mission
Nestor is a community movement connecting generations.
​
We provide opportunities to high schoolers and college students from your neighborhoods  to provide trusted household assistance, share their technological expertise and help families and small businesses navigate an increasingly complicated world.
​
In return, Nestors gain something that can't be learned entirely in a classroom: real-world experience in professionalism, business, service, entrepreneurship, community connections right within their neighborhood, and financial independence.

About the Name
Nestor comes from Greek mythology.
Nestor was known as a wise and experienced counselor. Someone people turned to for guidance, perspective, and practical wisdom.
A Nestor is someone you can turn to when you need a helping hand.
Today, Nestor brings that idea into the modern household.
Arjun Shinde
Founder & Chief Nestor
Arjun is a rising Senior at J.P. Stevens in Edison, New Jersey. Arjun has devoted his entire childhood to Scouting, rising from Tiger Cub Scout to soon becoming an Eagle Scout.

Through several community interactions and projects, Arjun was deeply moved by challenges in his neighbourhood, as several senior citizens, families, and small businesses had to wait for assistance with decluttering or completing small and longer, more tedious tasks. These inconveniences and universal problems in his neighborhood is what motivated Arjun to start Nestor.Â
